Geraldine Crane
Serene Spiritual Mother Wounds Mentor

As a Serene Spiritual Mother Wounds mentor Geraldine uses Spiritual Hypnotherapy, mother wound coaching and inner child healing to help women who have experienced a toxic or difficult relationship with their mother, to reconnect to who they truly are, to reclaim their power and sense of worth, so they can start loving themselves and in doing so have happier healthier relationships with those they love.

   Professional Background
Geraldine Crane qualified as a Probation Officer 2006 and has since worked as a substance Misuse Worker and Domestic Abuse Recovery worker. Early on she developed a passion for supporting those recovering from a toxic or abusive relationship.

In 2019 she qualified and started her business as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. However in 2020 during lockdown, she took some time out to focus on family and her own healing, and began developing her 'Serene Spiritual' way of working, bringing a gentle spirit-guided approach to her work.

Spiritual Journey
At the age of 19 joined a spiritual development circle where she learnt a love-based approach to connecting with spirit and she discovered her ability to connect with Spirit Guides. When training in Hypnotherapy she reconnected with this ability on a deeper level and now helps others to connect with the unconditional love of their Spirit Guides, and the deep healing it can bring.

Personal Experience
Geraldine has experienced chronic anxiety since being very young, but always assumed it was due to becoming her mother's carer at the age of 12. However, in her late thirties after accessing counselling,  training in domestic abuse, and becoming a mother, she finally came to realise that the anxiety was stemming from a deeply enmeshed and co-dependant relationship with her mother, and the trauma being her mother's confidant as a child, witnessing and supporting her mother's unstable mental health. Further exacerbated by her mother becoming increasingly fearful and her attempts to use emotional manipulation and coercive control as Geraldine grew up.

At the age of 37 Geraldine took the very hard step of completely cutting contact. And whilst it was the hardest thing she had ever done, it enabled her to start on a deep healing journey. Along the way, including counselling, hypnotherapy and coaching, in addition to hours of self-study, meditation and reconnecting with her spirituality. And now she helps others to heal by combining all she has learnt (and continues to learn) professionally, spiritually and personally.
